'Wicked' sing-along screenings will let fans belt their hearts out: How to get tickets
"Wicked" fans, grab your witches' hats and some glittery wands — and don't forget to warm up your voices, too.
The hit movie musical, based on the Tony Award-winning Broadway show of the exact same name, is extending its theatrical run with a series of sing-along screenings over the holidays.
Moviegoers will be able to freely sing their aching hearts out to the film's stirring soundtrack, which features fan-favorite numbers such as "Popular," "Dancing Through Life," "The Wizard and I" and "Defying Gravity."
Singing at showings of the Golden-Globe nominated film was previously a point of conflict between fans and theaters. AMC Theatres, the world's largest movie theater chain, issued a 30-second advisory ahead of the film's Nov. 22 premiere to discourage fans from singing.
