Selena Gomez engaged to Benny Blanco after 1 year together: 'Forever begins now'
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have been saying yes to spending "forever" together.
On Wednesday night, Gomez, 32, shared an online post of a large engagement ring on that finger and captioned the post, "Forever begins now.." The "Only Girls in the Building" star also shared photos of herself admiring the new accessory on her left ring finger as she sat on a picnic blanket and in a selfie, making an ecstatic face.
In the fourth and final photo, Blanco, 36, is seen warming up to his new fiancée while sitting on the floor of a closet, with Gomez again flashing her new bling.
“Hey wait…" the record producer put in a comment. "That's my wife."
On her Instagram Story, Gomez shared a photographic image of herself on FaceTime with someone, her left hand trembling as she put it up to her phone. "Yes to this!" she said.
PRESS has reached out to representatives for Gomez and Blanco for comment.
The news comes amid a big year for both stars' careers. Blanco released a cookbook, "Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends," earliest in the year, while Gomez earned two Golden Globe nominations for her work in "Only Murders" and her recent theatrical role in Netflix's "Emilia Pérez" this week.

When did Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco start dating?
A year ago, the couple went public with their relationship, with Gomez posting a series of photos from a trip to New York, including a photo of her kissing her new beau. In a since-deleted comment, the Rare Beauty founder appeared to reveal the two had already been dating for six months.
In a Time interview published in May, Gomez opened up about how their romance started, saying that though she'd only considered him a friend at first, she'd became aware her feelings were romantic after attending a birthday party to meet his friend.
"It just happens when you very least expect it," Gomez said. However, she also clarified that "he isn't my only source of happiness."
That same month, Blanco gave out a few details of his relationship on the Howard Stern Show.
"She's the coolest, the nicest, the sweetest," Blanco told Stern. "She's truly just like my best friend."
When asked about having kids, Blanco said, "That's, like, my afterlife goal." And when Stern said "I'm predicting marriage," Blanco replied: "You and me both."
"I don't know a world where it could be better than this," he added.
In September, Gomez revealed that she couldn't carry a pregnancy herself due to "a lot of medical issues" but intends to become a mom someday.

Selena Gomez said that Brian Blanco is 'not going anywhere any time soon'
At public events such as Gomez's Rare Impact Fundraiser in October, the two appeared besotted with each other. The two shared PDA while seated with her clan at the auction portion of the event, and Blanco emerged as one of the biggest donors of the night.
At one point, Blanco was embroiled in a procurement war over a five-night stay at a three-story villa in an exclusive community in western Mexico and emerged victorious with a winning $25,000 bid.
He also donated a one-hour virtual meal preparation class with him and his friend, "The Bear" star Matty Matheson and later committed at the highest donation level, $20,000, to Gomez's Rare Impact Fund.
Speaking with Time, Gomez opened up about all that refreshing it is to have a partner unbothered by online hate, especially as Gomez herself is the most-followed woman on Instagram.
"I know what people can do to people I love. My own fans, who I adore and feel like have shaped who I am, will say the most hurtful things to their friends about how I live my life," she said. "But he has the strength in him that none of that noise fazes him. It’s really lovely, and I just cherish every moment with him.
"I don't know what the future holds, but I do know this he's not going anywhere any time soon."
