Super Villain Turns Director: Indian John Wick?  

Actor Sonu Sood has once more taken the internet by storm with the teaser release of Fateh, his directorial debut. 

The actor, known for his opposing roles in films like ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Simmba’, seems to be moving in a different direction, trying to change his image from a typical villain to a superkiller protagonist.

With both direction and action solidly under his grip, his aim to launch himself into this uncharted territory by recreating his cinematic identity becomes pretty clear. 

The teaser promises a high-octane action project, with Sonu Sood in the lead role of a contract killer. The 1 minute 18 seconds long clip shows some intense action sequences, often gory at times, giving a John Wick vibe to it.

Jacqueline Fernandez is Sood’s co-star in the project, with her action-packed role being a breath of fresh air from her usual glamorous characters. 

Social media has been absolutely crazy to see this new side of Sonu Sood, with people taking to the comments to express their opinions. One user said, “Sonu bhai is living the character. Goosebumps overload!”

Another praised the actor for having offered help in the pandemic, commenting, “Sonu Sood supported the country during tough times; now it’s our turn to support him.”
